As of September 2026: The Nashik Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority (NTKMA) has not yet officially announced a mandatory e-pass system for general pilgrims visiting the Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027. This page will be updated immediately when an official announcement is made.

In the 2015 Nashik Kumbh Mela, general pilgrim entry to the main ghats was free and did not require a pre-registration. However, the 2027 event is expected to have significantly higher footfall (12-20 crore estimated), which may lead the Nashik Kumbh authority to implement crowd control measures.

During the 2015 Nashik Kumbh, VIP passes were issued for restricted ghat access during Shahi Snan days. These were distributed through the District Collector's office and select government channels. Similar arrangements are expected for 2027.
