Nashik Kumbh Mela 2027 Official Logo & Mascot Competition Announced

In a bid to involve citizens across the country, the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has officially announced a massive public competition to design the Logo, Mascot, and Tagline (Slogan) for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.

The Kumbh Mela is not just a religious event; it is a global cultural phenomenon. The government wants the branding for the 2027 event to reflect the deep spiritual heritage of Nashik, the purity of the Godavari River, and the modern, organized approach to the massive gathering.

Competition Details

The competition is open to all citizens, artists, graphic designers, and students. It is divided into three distinct categories:

• Official Logo: Must incorporate elements representing Nashik, Trimbakeshwar, the Simha (Lion) constellation, and the Godavari River.
• Official Mascot: A welcoming figure that embodies the spirit of service (Seva) and hospitality of Nashik.
• Official Tagline: A short, catchy, and deeply spiritual slogan in Marathi, Hindi, or Sanskrit.

Prizes and Recognition

The government is offering significant cash rewards for the winning entries in each category. Furthermore, the winning designs will be printed on millions of official documents, banners, merchandise, and digital platforms globally.
